She was introduced to college level acting techniques in middle school and she found herself needing much more of a challenge than her initial undergraduate college, the University of Kentucky, could offer her. So she took on a full course load, booked, and filmed two feature films, one of which she was the lead. Still, she found herself craving more challenges, which led her to Los Angeles and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2018. There she worked even harder and she was able to consistently be one of 3 top students in her class.
Since being in Los Angeles she has sought out extra classes with The Groundlings, booked 2 short films, 3 independent films, and been involved in two campaigns for clothing brands, all without representation. She is now represented by Mara Santino with Luber Roklin Entertainment and Mike Wilson with Maverick Artists Agency who have helped her receive those “big girl” auditions for Netflix, HBO, Hulu, the CW, etc, that she’s always wanted the opportunity to have.
Cameryn’s super power in the LA market has been her Midwest etiquette, work ethic, humility, and values. Her long term career goals are to continue to work, refine her craft, and to reflect her passions for mental health awareness, women’s rights, her LGBTQ community, and above all else, kindness.
